You don't need to find solid colored layouts. All you need to do is find ANY layout, look for where it says ''background image'' in the code, and delete the image url. Then look for the background color in the code and type in which ever color you want.

OMG, there are a million sites......just type in myspace layouts in your search engine and literally hundreds pop up. Depending on your taste, there is a site for everyone!! If you're asking what I think you're asking (it is unclear), you'll need to create a new image in something like Photoshop or GIMP. There are no HTML tags that can repeat just one section of an image. Creating a new image shouldn't be too hard, just copy and paste the area you want to repeat :)

Usually there is a link on other people's myspace page that you can click and go straight to the layout page to help design your own page. I use PimpWebPage.com. It's simple but I like it.

For any HTML tag you can adjust the settings of it. Use backgrounds, colors, fonts, text size, whatever you'd like. When you write something with that tag (%26lt;u%26gt;I'm so rad%26lt;/u%26gt;) it will appear on your profile with the properties you assigned to it in your style sheet.

to change your codes you need to do a search for a hex color chart. The colors are a code that comes from a chart. There are a few charts out there, but they are all pretty much the same. They use about six numbers or letters or both, and to change the colors of fonts, or your background you find them in your code (after the word color or font or whatever) and you change them to one you pick out yourself.

Just go into your code and find the codes that look like it. you can find it by searching for the code of the color that is currently on your profile that you don't like, (for example, if you hate that your font is white, click on that link and search for white on that chart and then look for that code in your layout code %26amp; then replace it with one you like)

It's just html code... there are all kinds of sites that can give you this info, but I'm attaching a popular one that I've used.

But basically, for example. you start with %26lt;U%26gt; to underline and then afterward you do %26lt;/U%26gt; to stop underlining. You have to know the color codes you want to change colors. You can use %26lt;font size=1%26gt; for example to change font sizes.

What are some good websites for MySpace codes, Layouts, Tweaks, Icons, %26amp; much more.?

below is a list of sites for layouts, graphics, codes, etc. the layouts are usually divided up into categories. once you find a layout you like follow these steps:

1. pick the layout and look for the code the website provides(usually right below the image, or it'll say "click here to get this layout")

2. copy the code.

3. log into your myspace so it's on your home page and hit edit profile.

4. paste the code that you copied into your "about me" section.

5. save that and then view your profile and your new layout should be up.

%26amp; at the bottom where it says "Essential Links %26amp; Codes for Overlays", type in your myspace URL %26amp; click "Create Links!". It will give you all of your links that you need.

Now in your layout code, add this code for every link you want to add:

Make sure that you add the "block/ignore" link because myspace can delete your profile if you don't add it.

You have to sign up for the site (it's free), but their tickers and counter boxes are way cute, and there are a ton to choose from. click on the help button at the top left of your screen when you are on myspace. It will walk you through how to do everything. It just takes a couple of minutes to figure it out. Another thing I did was to surf other people's spaces and if I saw something I liked I clicked on it. When you click on a picture it will take you to the website where you can get it.

My myspace contact table for layouts never shows, how do I fix this problem?

Whenever I change my layout on my myspace page, the contact table NEVER shows up. I end up going in and editing in the codes to make the default contact table visible. I've even tried adding the code to make the contact table hidden, then removing it, but of course, that doesn't work. So, any suggestions on how to fix this, if I can, please share this knowledge. :)

I've recently used a custom layout to decorate my myspace page. But In the "About Me" section, there is advertisment from the page where I got the layout telling people to click on it to view more layouts. i find it very annoying and don't know how to read HTML to find out how to remove it! Can anyone help me? Is there something specific I should be looking for in the HTML and deleting?

At the very end of the layout you'll have a tag that looks like this... %26lt;/style%26gt; That is the END. Then after that, what they usually do is start with an %26lt;a href= URL%26lt;/a%26gt; type thing. It will have the words and what not that is showing up under your about me. Just erase that whole thing under the %26lt;/style%26gt; and you should be fine. They also sometimes stick the ads on the top of the layout code so anything BEFORE it says %26lt;style type="text/css"%26gt; needs to be erased as well.
