He simply added a table into his profile and then moved it with negative values to cover up everything. Then he was able to put in his own graphics and such. Nothing too complicated there.
Check out CSS and negative values for margins to find out how he could do it.

Go to the lseft hand side pannel where you have klayout option which will give you step by step procedue to setup your own layout
I don't know how to actually MAKE a layout, but there are several websites that have a ton of layouts already made up. You can then just copy the code and paste it (usually in your about me section) and you're good to go. Just use Yahoo's search engine and try myspace layouts or myspace backgrounds. Sometimes you have to download something to use it, but not always.

Everytime i try to get the code it takes my to a page that offer to add it automaticaly that does nothing. How do i get the code itself or how do i use these layouts?
Hm, make sure you entered you're MySpace URL - go to the bottom and click "Get Code" then you'll be asked to make sure it's you're URL click "Confirm" and then you'll get to the code page with two code boxes one for you're "About Me" and one for you're "Who I'd Like To Meet" copy %26amp; paste those.. and it should work.

I had trouble myself trying to figure out where to go for all the stuff for myspace page to get it set up the way I wanted it, %26amp; I ended up talking to my sister online because she has a membership on myspace.com as well, %26amp; she told me where to go for all the stuff. I found the place's, %26amp; made sure I saved them to my favorites on my computer sometime's some link's can change, but they are not that hard to find, %26amp; if you meet new people online on the myspace page they will have link's to new stuff that you might not have seen before that you can use on myspace.com that is also how i got a few of mine. I am very glad that I am able to pass the info along to another person who need's help with the layout's, %26amp; etc for their myspace page. That layout isn't actually pre-made, it's custom made. If you want to customize your colors, open Internet Explorer and go to myspace profile editor. If you want a pre-made one then do a google search for "myspace layouts" and follow their instructions.

Get codes fo layouts, images, etc. and just paste them in.
if you want to learn how to mkae layouts and do the codes yourself then u need to know html, css, photoshop,etc.
if not then u can google the codes you want and get layouts from different sites
you can go to sites, like mygen.co.uk
they have generators for hiding stuff, making scroll boxes, and layouts.
if you want an overly, try googling bbz space.
1.you have to be experienced in html or at least know some things about it.
it is good to first be able to tweak others' layouts;change the background, colors, fonts, and other things. to make layouts from scratch is more advanced, unless its something simple like a default layout. you can find blank layout codes, or stylesheets, on google or something. alot of things on the layout code require a color code, like 000000 or FFFFFF. (white or black) different colors have different codes. you can find a chart of every color by typing in "color code chart" on google.
2.you must also have a good program, like photoshop or photofiltre, and know how to use them.
3.hiding things is simple, you just type %26lt;style%26gt;.WHATEVERYOUWANTTOHIDE{display:no... when you put in what you want to hide, don't use spaces. for example, to hide your about me you type %26lt;style%26gt;.aboutme{display:none;}%26lt;/style%26gt;
4. start a site. make a layout site on myspace. have a good catchy name, it will make more people want to add you. make your signs(pictures) flashy so it will make more people want to add you also.
5.know the site "lingo".
s4s: support 4 support.
you will need a support code just something with a link to your site that has a sign and says click to add or something. someone will ask you or you will ask someone:"s4s?" then you will each go to the others site and get the support code, then post it in a bulletin. people will then click on it when they open the persons bulletin, and there you go, adds.
1k+, 2k+,3k+, etc.:
their friend count:1k=1000 friends, 2k=2000 friends, etc.
hiatus: a break. if i site says,"im on hiatus", that means they're taking a break from their site.
6. last but not least, you need to know how to make a link. it is the code i type the most out of anything. %26lt;a href="URL HERE%26gt;TEXT HERE%26lt;/a%26gt;
memorize it, its so much easier.
i really don't know anything about comment boxes. sorry.

1. pick the layout and look for the code the website provides(usually right below the image, or it'll say "click here to get this layout")
2. copy the code.
3. log into your myspace so it's on your home page and hit edit profile.
4. paste the code that you copied into your "about me" section.
5. save that and then view your profile and your new layout should be up.

ya i have had two ecko layouts. one of them is a red one with some clothes in the background and i got tired of it. the other was this cool one that had a bunhc of cool clothes in the back btu i had that one for a long time so i dont feel liek having it again. if you can get me one that would be greatly appreciated

Well, it takes some html knowlage. I would use photoshop, paint, or lunapic.com to make the background. And then upload it on photobucket.com and then use the code %26lt;body background="THE IMAGE URL"%26gt;

You don't need to find solid colored layouts. All you need to do is find ANY layout, look for where it says ''background image'' in the code, and delete the image url. Then look for the background color in the code and type in which ever color you want.

You don't need to find solid colored layouts. All you need to do is find ANY layout, look for where it says ''background image'' in the code, and delete the image url. Then look for the background color in the code and type in which ever color you want.

google image search to find the picture you want. Save the picture and upload it to photobucket or snapdrive or something like that so the link doesn't get broken. Use the URL instead of your current background picture URL.
If you don't already have a background picture, use this code:

OMG, there are a million sites......just type in myspace layouts in your search engine and literally hundreds pop up. Depending on your taste, there is a site for everyone!! I don't have a favorite one, I just pick and choose!! However, if you are talking about photos and pic's for comments, I would recommend Photobucket!! It's the easiest and very user friendly.
